Chakras
What are the Chakras? In you are advanced in the "practice" you would be familiar with the meaning . If you are beginning your journey of the daily "practice" of balance, Chakras are an important concept.
Chakra translates to mean a "wheel" or "disk" in which energy flows thru the body. The main chakras are seven focus areas. The focus areas are the crown, third eye, throat, heart, solar plexus, sacral and root. The focus areas correspond to organs as well as physical, spiritual, emotional, psychological states. When Chakras are open, aligned and in balance, the belief is that the "prana" healing energy is allowed to flow freely through the human body. With our daily practice of mindfulness and enlightenment, this is the ultimate goal. The positive affects are limitless.
The tools associated with the daily practice involve yoga, meditation, crystals or gems, essential oils, reiki, lifestyle changes, recreational therapy, art therapy, lifestyle changes, etc. If you have a unique tool that inspires you to find balance, please share. This is a journey of enlightenment, learning and growth.

Breathe
Hi - it has been awhile since I posted. Everyone has been extremely busy or not busy because of the pandemic we have been experiencing. I for one have been extremely busy working remotely in my day job and creating wonderful products for my online store.
So, have you been able to stay balanced during this global crisis?
I can tell you personally it has been difficult to transition and stay balanced. However, the practice has helped in stressful situations to focus, stay calm, relax the mind. I participate in the daily practice of yoga. I also meditate during the day as well. Deep breathing is essential to both exercises/ practices. Some days require the practice more than others.
Below is a nice article from yogainternational.com.

"By controlling the breath we can learn to control prana. And because prana sets the mind in motion, by controlling the breath we control the mind"
Prana represents the vital energy.
